Silver. 0.9 grs, 21 / 22mm

I thought maybe it was a Quirate, but then I was told it was a Almoravida or Almohada ? ? ?

Now I have no time to research, but at first sight it doesn't seem to be neither Almoravid nor Almohad; in spite of that its style is very related to that of the Almohad coins.

Pues eso, que ahora no tengo tiempo de ir más allá, pero no me parece ni almorávide ni almohade; sin embargo su estilo la podría colocar muy cerca de la órbita de estos últimos (meriníes, hafsíes o alguna acuñación poco común de los almohades???)

The coin has holes so it could be sown into the clothes The Muslims were in Portugal before we had kings the first Portuguese King was D. Afonso I in 1128-1185, so the coin should be around this age, before the Muslim coinage (1144 - 1151) here in Portugal there were Visigods coinage 584 - 711
I hope the coin is rare. It is hard work with the metal ... and normally all you find is rubish and bottle caps. we allways bring the rubish we find and place in the bin. At least we clean the world a little.
I have been collecting coin for 20 years, but since I started metal detecting coins I never knew existed are being found, so I need help from my friends..

Moneda de plata, denominada " muzuna" perteneciente al reinado en Marruecos del sultán Muley Ismail ( 1672 a 1727).

No es, por tanto, del periodo de Al-Andalus.

Dear friend, one of the rules of this forum indicates that it's forbidden to talk about the value of the coins... It's also forbidden to talk about the provenance of the pieces (and also probably to do the same about metal detecting!!!) That's the way things are...

We must thank the presence here of our friend perez, always able and available to identify all kind of "stranger" islamic coins.

Anyway I guess the coin should be of little value :(
